1. Technological process of ABS plastic plating
Degreasing → Water washing → Roughening → Water washing → Colloidal palladium activation → Water washing → Gel release → Water washing → Chemical nickel plating → Water washing → Nickel electroplating → Water washing → Copper electroplating → Water washing→ Chrome electroplating→ Water washing→ Drying
2. Main process introduction
2.1 Degreasing:remove oil and reducing its surface tension, endowing it with surface hydrophilicity.
2.2 Roughening:improve surface roughness and increase surface area to increase the adhesion between metal coatings and plastics; Make the plastic surface change from hydrophobic to hydrophilic, and all parts are evenly wetted with water to evenly adsorb metal ions.
2.3 Colloidal palladium activation:a layer of easily oxidized material is adsorbed on the surface of the product, so that Redox can occur during the activation treatment, and a precious metal film with catalytic effect can be formed on the surface of the product.
2.4 Gel release:generate a layer of palladium metal film on the surface of the product.
2.5 Chemical nickel plating:plating a layer of nickel on the surface of the workpiece to strengthen the conductive layer.
2.6 Electroplating:plating the required coating on the surface of the product.

Pre-nickel plating solution: Ni(SO3NH2)2 400~600mL/L
NiCl2 5~15g/L
H3BO3 40~60g/L
Nickel plating solution: Ni(SO3NH2)2 400~600mL/L
